At the Â鶹ÊÓƵAnnual Convention in Hawaii last month, several Building Division leaders ascended to new positions within the association. Terry Wooding, executive VP of Petra Construction Corporation in North Haven, CT and Eric Hedlund, executive VP and COO of Sundt Construction Inc. in Tempe, AZ, became the 2012-2013 chair and vice chair, respectively, of the Â鶹ÊÓƵBuilding Division. Both will also serve on the Â鶹ÊÓƵExecutive Board.
Wooding has served as Division vice chair, chair of the Construction Marketing Forum, and as a member of the Â鶹ÊÓƵExecutive Board. Hedlund has served as chair of the Public/Private Industry Advisory Council (PIAC) and as a chair and member of numerous committees and task forces.
Doug Maibach, EVP of Barton Malow Company in Southfield, MI, is the new chair of the Industry Liaison Committee. Maibach is the past vice chair of the Committee and past chair of the Project Delivery Forum.
Dana Birkes, VP of Business Development and Marketing at The Flintco Companies in Tulsa, OK, is the new chair of the Construction Marketing Forum. Birkes is the past vice chair of the Forum and is also a new member of the Â鶹ÊÓƵExecutive Board.
Dave Higgins, president of HMH Builders, Inc. in Sacramento, CA is the new chair of the Project Delivery Forum. Higgins is the past vice chair of the Forum.
Mike Kenig, vice chairman of Holder Construction Group LLC in Atlanta, GA, is the new chair of the Public/Private Industry Advisory Council (PIAC). Kenig is the past vice chair of the PIAC and past chair of the Building Division, Industry Liaison Committee, Project Delivery Forum and previously served on the Â鶹ÊÓƵExecutive Board.
