Â鶹ÊÓƵmember Randy Snow, senior vice president of Charleston, S.C.-based United Infrastructure Group, participated in an Â鶹ÊÓƵco-sponsored media event with Pennsylvania Governor Ed Rendell and Charleston Mayor Joe Riley to discuss the importance of renewed federal infrastructure investment.
The officials explained how new investments would help ease chronic flooding on Charleston's Septima Clark Expressway and address other transportation challenges.
The event was held in advance of today's forum on the importance of smart infrastructure investment co-sponsored by Â鶹ÊÓƵof America, Carolinas AGC, U.S. Chamber of Commerce and Building America's Future. The forum will include both Rendell and Riley, as well as U.S. Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood. Watch it live .
